Fly
over Angel Falls the highest waterfall in the world at 3,281ft. Visit
the stunning Kavac Canyon and swim to the base of its waterfall. Navigate
the Akanan, Carrao and Churun rivers accompanied by the native Pemon
people. Sleep in native camps along the riverbanks. Enter Devil's Canyon
by canoe with its magnificent views of Auyan Tepuy. Hike to the Angel
Falls overlook for magnificent view of one of the most beautiful nature
wonders of the world.
ITINERARY 
DAY 01
USA-CARACAS
Upon arrival in Venezuela, you will meet your local
guide who will drive you to the hotel in Caracas for the night.
DAY 02
CIUDAD BOLIVAR
After breakfast, your guide will take you to the
airport for a 1-hour flight to the colonial city of Ciudad Bolivar,
located on the Orinoco River. After checking in at the hotel you will
visit the local Indigenous museum. Then go for stroll in the Colonial
area of town and enjoy the sunset at the boardwalk and try spotting
fresh water dolphins swimming in the mighty Orinoco River. B,L,D
DAY 03
NATIVE PEMON CAMP OF KAVAC
Depart from Ciudad Bolivar on a charter plane to
Kavac, a Pemon indigenous settlement located at the southeast face of
the Auyan Tepuy Mountain. During your flight you will enjoy the magnificent
views of the Grand Sabana and fly over the incomparable Angel Falls.
After your arrival in camp, you will have time to relax before lunch.
After lunch you will take a 15-minute trek to the base of Auyan Tepuy
Mountain and visit the Kavac gorge. You will be able to enter this magnificent
narrow gorge by swimming or by canoe. Your efforts will be rewarded
with a superb close-up view of the Kavac waterfall. Accommodations in
Kavac will be in spacious traditional Pemon native round thatch - roofed
huts and you will sleep in hammocks with mosquito netting. B,L,D
DAY 04
IWANA MERU
Transfer to the port of Kamarata to begin the navigation
of the Akanan River in motor powered dugout canoes. During this portion
of your journey you will start to circumnavigate Auyan Tepuy. You will
have a chance to shoot several rapids and have frequent opportunities
for great photography of the mountain from ever changing angles as the
river winds through dense jungle. Overnight a the Iwana-merœ hammock

DAY 05
ARENAL
Continue your navigation down the Akanan River to
the confluence of the Carrao River until we reach or camp of Arenal
near the junction of the Carrao and Churun Rivers. Time in Arenal to
relax and prepare for your trip to Angel Falls in the morning. B,L,D
DAY 06
ARENAL
Wake up early in the morning and after breakfast
you will navigate the Churun River through the stunning Devil's Canyon
till you reach Ratoncito Island. From here you will continue your journey
on foot submerged in the lush rain forest vegetation till you reach
the Angel Falls overlook. The natural platform will provide visitors
with dramatic views of one of the most magnificent natural wonders of
the world. Later you will return to Ratoncito for a refreshing swim
before returning to your camp in Arenal. B,L,D
DAY 07
CANAIMA
In the morning you will head downstream to the village
of Canaima. Stop at the Pool of Joy and also Sapo Falls, a 150 ft water
jump that has a cave where you can walk behind the water curtain. After
arrival at your hotel you will enjoy dinner. Overnight in Canaima hotel.

CARACAS
Morning flight back to Caracas. Transfer to your

Ground transfer to international airport for flight
